Tours & Historical Characters
EGTC has developed multiple tours for Gardens and parks around Sydney and the Illawarra that explore the history and science of these unique locations. Bringing historical figures to life to engage audiences with a living version of times gone by.
A rare opportunity to enter the Sydney Botanic Garden after hours. Journey along shadowy tree-lined paths, creep past gloomy ponds and tiptoe through eerie grottos.
As bats fly overhead and night-creatures stare from the treetops hear spooky and kooky stories of the Garden's past, tales of people long since dead, and the imprints they have left behind.

Believe It or Not!
There will be stories of plant discoveries, plants doing unbelievable things and tales of how our scientists here at the Botanic Gardens are contributing to plant conservation in Australia and across the globe.
The twist? You to decide for yourselves whether the tales are true or not – or how much truth is in them. Be surprised by the whacky world of plants!

Historic Characters
EGTC has appeared as roving historically accurate characters for the 90th anniversary of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the festival of Steam at Sydney's Central railway station. Plus wrote and performed a murder mystery based in the 1920s both on stage and over Zoom during the pandemic where the audience questioned the suspects and solved the mystery in real time.
