EGTC Drama School now taking enrolments for Term 2

Eaton Gorge Theatre Company,  the Illawarra's professional theatre company, are excited to announce our new drama school at 313 on the corner of Miller and Fox Streets in Coniston.

We are offering two streams of classes for both children and adults all of which will be run by our team of professional actors.  'Confidence Through Drama' is for all students who want to develop their confidence through drama.  'Acting For Actors' is for those who want to develop their performance skills.

Confidence Through Drama

Drama lessons can develop your confidence, negotiation skills, your imagination and creativity, but most importantly, drama lessons are lots of FUN and a good way to meet people.

Classes have now commenced, but feel free to come and join in.  All students are welcome to visit for one free trial lesson.  Make sure you call beforehand.

Mondays 10 week term April 19 - June 28 (14 June long weekend holiday)

4.00 - 5.00 pm           8 years - 12 years

5.00 - 6.00 pm           13 years - 16 years

Fridays

6.00 - 7.00 pm           17 years plus

Places still available in all classes

Fees $150.00 per term (incl GST)

Acting for Actors

Acting is a collaborative art form.  Unlike musicians, artists or dancers, actors need to develop their skills in a group and that's what these classes are all about!

Classes have commenced, but feel free to come and join in.  All students are welcome to visit for one free trial lesson.  Make sure you call beforehand. 

Entry into this class is by audition only and designed for those who are serious about pursuing acting as a career.

Wednesdays

4.00 - 5.15 pm           8 years - 12 years

5.30 - 6.45 pm           13 years - 16 years

7.00 - 8.30 pm            17 years and up

This course will cover:

• Relaxation
• Warming-up
• Voice projection
• Improvisation
• Character development
• Preparation for an audition

    Fee $165.00 for a 11 week term inc GST

EGTC can also provide individual classes for those auditioning for high school performing arts' schools and tertiary drama courses.  We are also available to organise workshops or individual lessons at your  home, school, group or organisation.
